If I do it like that in the picture and connect it to TV HDMI, will it be automatically recognized right away? Am I the only one who can't recognize it at all?

Everything arrived correctly, the product is as described, it works well and there is a wide variety of games and consoles, there are even games for PS1. The price is worth what it offers.
This is the 3rd one of these units I have purchased. They are great! Makes a fantastic gift. I have really enjoyed exposing my children to the games I played as a kid. They find them surprisingly challenging. I would recommend for any game lover.
